- Our Historian, Blis Powell was in attendance at Wednesday’s
Rotary Club meeting. But, he didn’t share a history
moment.
PROGRAM - Blis Powell introduced our speaker,
our very own Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow Berton Whitaker,
the President & CEO of Trover Health System since June
2006.
Mr. Whitaker wanted to address the article in the “Paper”
regarding the recent Administrative job changes with an
information session about Trover Health System. Mr. Whitaker
explained with the assistance of Mr. Joe Miller in detail
exactly what is going on; how they’re reorganizing;
the strategic plan and the marketing goals. Trover Health
System wants to work with local business. Over all 2007
was a decent year and the hospital was profitable.
