MADISONVILLE ROTARY HISTORY MOMENT
- Our Historian, Bliss Powell, was not in attendance
PROGRAM
Steve Cox and Captain Stewart were responsible for our
program.
Our program was Hopkins County Attorney, Todd P’Poole.
Todd thanked the Rotary Club for inviting him to speak and
to share what a pleasure the past nine months have been
to serve as our County Attorney. He said it’s never
and dull moment and there are always stories to share when
appropriate around the dinner table. Todd is very proud
of his staff of many who daily work to make his job as County
Attorney easier. He’s very proud “Teen Challenge”
a 25 bed in house treatment facility will open next month
in Dixon. He works very closely with the Federal, State
and local Juvenile Systems. He said: we don’t need
a Youth Center; we need rational people willing to deal
with irrational addicts. The government does a lousy job
being a family. We must take time to mentor and build relationships
