GUESTS - Alicia Drennen a native
of Las Vegas, Nevada was the guest of Sandra Mefford. Alicia
is the new local loan officer for Madisonville and surrounding
areas for US Bank. Alicia’s sister is the ER Director
at Regional Medical Center. Jordan Durban, MaryAnn Durban’s
son. It was certainly an honor and a blessing to see our
fellow Rotarian Terry Cunningham, DMD, on Wednesday. Terry
you look GREAT!!!!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Margo Scott needs help collecting the cheer uniforms on
November 3rd.
The Rotary Cheer competition will be held at Madisonville
North Hopkins High School on November 3rd at 7 PM. Margo
encourages everyone who can to attend! She will need additional
help to collect the cheer uniforms from the girls after
the competition is over. Please come and enjoy the evening.

Bill Thomas announced that the Madisonville Community Band
will have its first concert in 10 years this Sunday afternoon
at 2 PM at the newly renovated auditorium at Browning Springs
Middle School. Everyone is invited.
When you invite someone to Rotary, be sure to give them
a brochure and an application to fill out.
Our Rotary Club will be a sponsor of the Industry Appreciation
luncheon on November 1st.
Mark your calendar: The Rotary Club Christmas party will
be Thursday, December 6th.
Please, be sure to wear your Rotary Badges during the meeting;
or you will be accessed a FINE! Or, maybe even worse…that
is if Bill decides to follow the Delbert Cartoon example!
Don’t forget to turn off all cell-phones during the
meeting or set them to vibrate. I am not sure but, I think
this includes your “Blackberries” and so forth.

MADISONVILLE ROTARY HISTORY MOMENT
- Our Historian, Bliss Powell, was actually “living”
in the moment with Current Events… Bliss was giving
Charlie Willett a rough time over his lack of ability to
operate heavy machinery. Thank you, Bliss!
PROGRAM
Harry Dolph and Sharon Smith were responsible for our program.
Harry, introduced Walter Crammer the Executive Community
Director of the Hopkins County Community Clinic, Inc. located
in the Trover Foundation Building, on the 2nd floor at 435
North Kentucky Avenue. Mr. Crammer explained, the mission
of Hopkins County Community Clinic, Inc. is to provide medical
and pharmaceutical care to the financially qualified working
uninsured; while providing opportunities for health science
students to experience service learning opportunities first
hand. The Clinic’s intention is to help Hopkins County
Residents who are making a sincere effort to help themselves
and their families.
