BIRTHDAYS / ANNIVERSARYS / SPECIAL EVENTS - Shane Fortner and James Barritt celebrated Birthdays. Bill Metcalfe paid five dollars for Jesus’ birthday and his wife, Bonnie’s birthday (both on the 25th)

ANNOUNCEMENTS - We will not be participating in the Holiday Parade that has been rescheduled for December 29th at 4 p.m.

PROGRAM - Heather Roy and Rich Joiner were in charge of the program. Jason Hawkins, Vice President and Trust Manager at First United Bank, spoke about New Year’s resolutions to make to improve your financial situation. Here are a few examples:

1. Get fit – Go through all planning docs and make sure they are up to date. Review your mortgage to insure you are getting the best rate and review your current insurance needs.

2. Get organized – Organize your financial records. Review your household expenses. Know where all important documents are kept and share that info with a loved one.

3. Reduce stress – Manage your taxes. Develop a crisis management plan for financial emergencies
